Planting instructions for:

Arctotis - 6 pack

Choose a location that receives full sun and has well-drained soil. Prepare the soil by removing any weeds, rocks, or debris and loosening it with a garden fork or tiller. Dig a hole slightly larger than the root ball of the plant. Gently remove the plant from its container, being careful not to damage the roots. Place the plant in the hole, making sure it is level with the surrounding soil. Back fill the hole with soil, firming it gently around the roots to remove any air pockets. Water the plant thoroughly after planting to settle the soil. Apply a layer of mulch around the base of the plant to retain moisture and suppress weed growth. Arctotis is drought-tolerant once established, so water sparingly, allowing the soil to dry out between watering. Prune the plant as needed to maintain its shape and remove any dead or damaged foliage. Arctotis prefers full sun exposure but can tolerate some light shade. Monitor the plant for common pests and diseases, and take appropriate action if necessary, using organic or chemical controls.
