Granadilla (Passiflora edulis)

Granadilla, also refered to as passion fruit is a vigorous growing vine with dark green glossy leaves, beautifull intricate flowers and edible fruit. Plant young vines in full sun with a strong trellis for support. Ensure planting holes have generous amounts compost mixed into it and that plants are kept suffiecently moist throughout spring and summer. In areas that experience cold winters, the vines may go dormant and drop their leaves but will soon recover when spring returns.
