A larger version of the more popular dwarf Mondo grass, Ophiopogon planiscapus 'Black Dragon' is stunning with it's dense tufts of black foliage. They grow to a height of 30-40cm and form dense clumps and they grow best in light shade or deep shade and will grow in any soil provided generous amounts have compost have been added.
