Rapanea melanophloeos - 70 litre

The Cape Beech or Boekenhout is an indigenous, evergreen tree. It's hardy, wind resistant and drought tolerant, making it a great addition to a coastal garden. The tree produces white flowers, followed by dark purple berries in late summer which the birds love. Plant in full sun or semi shade. Avoid planting near paved areas as the tree is known to sucker and lift surrounding surfaces when mature.
