Tecomaria capensis 'Coccinea' (Red)

Cape honey suckles are fast growing, evergreen indigenous shrubs with flowers in  warm shades from bright yellows to deep reds. Flowering time is usually during spring and autumn however there are instances where plants do flower throughout the summer. The plants reach heights of up to 3 metres with an almost equal spread when allowed the room. They do however respond well to regular cutting back which helps to promote a neater shape and makes them ideal for use as hedging.
